History: We began in 1988 as the result of a vision by our first pastor, Robert Walters. Bob’s unrelenting passion and endless love saw the gathering of a group of people who were determined to found a faithful Mennonite congregation in the northern Lehigh Valley. Today we are a growing community church seeking to be a faithful witness to the presence of God’s Kingdom here and now. We view our unique purpose to be three-fold:
- To be a place of refuge and belonging
- To be intentionally intercultural
- To be a place of mentoring and discipleship
Our Vision Statement: To be the people of God; inviting others to know God.
Our Mission Statement:
- To be a worshipping community of God. We gather around our God and Savior to worship Him.
- To nurture, disciple and build up individuals into spiritual maturity. To encourage all to have a vibrant relationship with Christ.
- To live our biblical Anabaptist identity and theology including evangelism, peace, justice, simple living and caring for God’s creation.
- To have concern, love, acceptance for, and fellowship with each other.
- To be a helping and loving servant people, following the model of Christ toward all humanity, reaching out to those nearby and around the world.
